  • Anyone try a 11-30 or 11-32 cassette on a Dura Ace 9000 rear derailleur?
    Tech sheet says 28t max, but B-screw trickery has been known to work...

  • 30 will defo work, 32 not sure

  • Shimano are usually conservative. I've used 32T on short cage Di2 RD that has a 28T "limit".
    You will probably find it'll go bigger but it does depend on the bike though.

    Don't recommend pushing even 11-30 with a 9000.

    I actually had a handful of bicycles with DA 9000 and the owner have 11-30 which really push the capacity of the DA derailleur to the point I have to convince them to change derailleur or go back to 11-28.

    Advice; get either the new DA 9100 that rated for 30t or the new Ultegra GS version.
