Trying out a change of wheels and giving the Schwalbe One gumwall a go. More of an Orange than the classic colour, not sure I’m feeling it

After not having a bike project for ages lockdown got me, snapped this up cheap. Thinking functional gramable retrogrouch build that I'm not too precious about.

This is really nice. Probably pretty light with a pedal change.
What are the wheels?

Very handsome frame Mr Jambon. I'm not familiar with the Hudson make.
Do you know much about them?
looking forward to your build. -

Me too, looking forward to how this turns out and shouldn't be too serious or expensive. I've never heard of Hudson or been able to find anything online but do like a mystery frame. Any leads very welcome!

They’re White Industries T11’s to HED Belgium Plus for inclement weather. Bought it from here with Easton EC90 SL’s but i hate braking on carbon in the wet.
Should probably make the jump to speedplays but I quite like being able to step off the bike for five minutes without skidding about everywhere -

Let me be more specific:
The current shifters are pretty long, and with the bars and slammed stem, you are pretty much a good couple of inches over the axle if you're on the hoods. Compact bars and/or shorter stem?
