There perfectly good for what’s needed. Anything pricier would just be excessive for a bike your boy will probably outgrow in no time.
No to mention he won’t care of branding I’d have thought. He’ll just want to ride regardless

Wheels showed up today. Quite impressed.
Actual Shimano hubs that spin for ever, rims look bombproof, all the spokes ring and are very tight. A bit heavy but far more robust than the stock wheels. For ~£48 I have no complaints.

If they explode it's not a fortune to replace. I've had several wheels from that company over the years. They're not bad.
