Restoring a vintage bike and not really my thing so require some advice. The cranks have been sprayed and it seems the pedal threads need retapped.
What’s a full proof way to identify the thread diameter and tpi? No markings on crank and the mix of old and new pedals I have nothing fits. Also best place to buy said tape?
Nearly the cotter pin crank arms don’t sit and 9-3 or 12-6. One is every so slightly off. Have disassembled and reassembled with no difference. Any pointers?
