New. A bland, nondescript office building. A cockney wouldn't believe anything interesting could happen here.
Gone Central; Hopefully Quick:

Monitoring a system of tubes, near the HQ for London's Tubes?

just for the record, where actually is this? If anyone is checking the thread for a retag then it's handy to be able to search for the specifics.

Baden Powell school, Powell rd, HACKNEY
-
• #22683
Yes, although, strictly speaking, the tagged mural is in Ferron Road.

Errr.... Where does Colston School, Bristol come into this?

• #22685
Part of the little joke that has developed among the cognoscenti of giving completely wrong tag names. Here, the connection is probably that Colston and Baden-Powell were both tagged by some in the same bracket as racists whose statues needed throwing into harbours and, presumably, that schools named after them needed re-naming.

Sorry, I meant to add the actual location after.
Baden Powell of course wasn't a slave owner, but a hero of Empire, who helped defeat ungrateful natives (whose "stupid inertness" was "duller than that of an ox") in the Gold Coast and Southern Rhodesia, and skilfully denied black Africans their rations to enable British soldiers to keep up the siege of Mafeking.
What better name could a school in Hackney bear?
Blah, blah, product of his time, erasing history etc. Burn it down, I say.

Sounds like you've cracked the code.

For future searchability purposes: This was GCHQ's London, erm, HQ, whose location was revealed in April 2019:

I can't help but feel that tag is a bit meh.
-
• #22695
It looks more arresting straight on, but then the info to nail it also becomes clearly visible for track-right, enhance, stop. Has as interesting a history as any of the other murals in BTOB.

• #22696
I think it was a clue more than a criticism...
-
• #22697
Thinks Oh. Doh. If so, not so much a clue as a sly hint they know the tag.
From Doh to Dough. I stumbled on this mural shortly after it was painted, on my way to a very tasty pizza at a very nice pub (a pub that's, well, further East than some pubs I could mention).

• #22698
Yeah, not really a clue just a really obscure humble brag.
It's actually a really cool tag. And within reach for me if only I had the time.

Anyone else getting nowhere with this?

No. Found it immediately.
