I wish the Purge films were better. Just watched the very average The First Purge, having only seen the very average original before. Just way too self serious. If they hadn't bothered trying to, very poorly, make any sort of sort of point and it was just a stupid, fun, Escape From New York-esque action romp it could be half decent.
