My never ending search for the perfect steel Scapin frame just lead me to this shop on ebay. Some crazy good NOS frames available. All in Italy but postage is only £30.

Yep! Some amazing things on there. At a quick glance some of it seems way overpriced, but other stuff pretty reasonable.

I did see your Quadra - it was the MGOOF thread that actually led me to the forum and I read every page :) I wish I'd bought a Quadra in '89 when I bought my Elix the geo is a bit more relaxed I think and it has better tyre clearance. Can't believe how good the Claris groupset is too.

Building this one back up as a road bike to leave at my Mum's house. Groupset is a right hotchpotch and not really very modern at all, but more so than the frameset.

Making slow progress on this one.

Not the most heavenly backdrop, but just back from first 80k on this build. 90s Columbus Genius Cascarsi frame with mixed Campy 11 group and Hed Belgium/PMP wheelset. It’s a very nice ride. Largely inspired by this thread, so thanks for the inspiration.
I’m going to be tweaking a few parts but this is mostly done.

Ta. I knew what I was going for but then let second-hand bargains decide the details. Ended up higher spec than I thought.

Gonna be a while. I've got a house to refurb first.

It's not the prettiest. It will be covered up most of the time by the thing it's made to hold.
