I can't feasibly get any spirited riding where I live now
People constantly drag race between the roundabouts here in Swindon, hatchbacks as much as motorcycles.
I stand firm that the country roads are great for riding around here, but you’d need to keep the spirit in check a little. Long gone are the days where the thrill of going fast and twisty is a good idea on open roads.
Even if you keep to the speed limit this still happens:

I've not ridden that area personally but I know it's a popular climb for cycling so I wonder if there's been a push from that side for reduced speeds. Bit annoying for bikers though as being narrow, there's not so much conflict. The article is a bit odd in that it says there've been basically no prosecutions for speeding, but doesn't mention how many collisions there've been while using the road within the speed limit. I would imagine if that was also basically none, it would have gone in.
I live near Whiteways and the road climb up to the biker cafe there can get a bit hairy when bikers/drivers choose to close-pass but mostly its fine and you get to see tonnes of cool vehicles.
Yep, read the post before hence hesitating to ask as it's a horrific situation to think about.
Reckon that's a solid idea to be honest. I can't feasibly get any spirited riding where I live now, so track makes sense down the line. That F3 seems to be a bit of a hidden gem. Do like them triples.
