@scultura - which Seven dealer has your friend visited?
The Seven dealer should fill out Seven’s questionnaire, take your mates current bike measurements, ask questions about how they think it fits and rides and go from there. Dependant on the dealer, they should also get your mate on a fit bike, get them into their ideal race position that’s comfortable and take their X / Y.
That is then sent to Seven. Seven’s design team then look at the measurements and notes on the questionnaire. They schedule a 20 minute interview with your friend to discuss the type of riding your friend is gonna do on the bike, what they’d change about their current bike fit wise, desired ride characteristics and so on. Seven then design a frame, send it to your friends dealer and your friend and the dealer sign it off.
It may seem like some of these steps are being repeated but this is to ensure that both your dealer and Seven sense check each other’s work.
Question: which dealer Has your friend visited?
Unless it wasn’t made clear to him: that is not a Seven frame design. That is a basic measurement mockup from your friends Seven dealer.
