Yeah, and they row on the Lea but not on the Roding. It's all very confusing.
Now that you've tagged it, giving you the land should be a mere formality, of course.

The sports ground has been unused for the last 10 years at least, but I'm on the committee of a football team that is trying to persuade the landowner to sell the ground, or at least lease it to us, so we can turn it back into something for the local community. The local MP is very supportive, but the land is owned by the National Grid (I think) and they're not that interested.
