Make sure to buy a couple extra for test cutting..
I know that you can do acryllic on the laser cutter, but not sure about polypropylene. -

I have some scrap polypropylene for testing. I’ve also found this, which gives some hints for the settings, they’re quite thin so a couple of low-power passes will probably be best.

I’m having a lot of fun with this bagmaking stuff. Testfit as I’m waiting for a piece of webbing to arrive before I can finish it off.

I finished the previous one and went on to experiment with an Ornot burrito style bag. It looks really shit, but I’ve learned a lot and I have good hope the next one will look considerably less shit.

Webbing for the straps should have been far closer to the zipper, and I need to watch a couple of youtube videos on round base bags to see what I'm doing wrong there. And I forgot I had white thread on the bobbin.

Starting to get the hang of sewing, need to sort out the cockpit if I want to run a bag like this though.

In my defense, they were cheap and I needed them for free postage.

Nothing wrong with a bit of horror here and there on a bike!

Finally made something again, a small frame bag inspired by the Deuter bag in @umop3pisdn Singular Swift. Made to fit the gravel bike still to be built and the Kona when mirrored. Test fit in the Eroba is a bit shoddy, but usable for now. Quite a nice fit in the Kona but still need to shorten the hydraulic hose to get the loop out of the way.
(Excuse the shit pics.)

Cheers! Don't look closely though, stitching is still a bit shoddy.

ZON113550001 I never expected the 1mm to be so visible.

Current state of the Unit. Added an extra cage with hoseclamps, not got great as the cage isn't really suitable for it so the hoseclamp digs into the bottle. Also a bit wobbly but 0 ejects on pretty rough riding, so it's fine for now.
Will need new tyres soon, currently considering a Racing Ray on the front and moving the Ralph to the back. Anyone used them?

haven't used them, but knowing schwalbe they'll be excellent.
have to say I am more than happy with my rather worn ralphs, they go on and on and on -
• #297
I might just add some sealant and really ride them into the ground, they've done about 3k km now with maybe 3mm of knobs left on the rear. Most of my current riding is more gravel oriented anyway.

• #298
That’s a good plan
I rode mine on the rear till it was completely bald! Very fast like that :) -

Do those little mudguards do much? Seen a few of those recently and they don't disgust me like other mudguards.

Yep, they do 80% of the work of a big one at 20% of the size. Keeps mud off face. Essential gear for Epping or other boggy singletrack October-March
Cool stuff.
