They have a while to figure out what to do with it as it's away for renovation. Hopefully things will have changed by then because public opinion still seems to be in favour of 'not hiding our history'.

I've never seen this up close before - I'm shocked that that sees the light of day.
They can stick it in a museum and buy themselves a new one - because nothing says 'relevance' today like the apparent necessity to own a racist, gold, horse drawn carriage...
Edit: I just tried to Google this - it's apparently the case that they own more than one gold horse drawn carriage - wtf.
