As I said above, PB and Hummus, there's something about the garlic in the hummus that makes it a dream.

Seriously tempted to try marmite on some ice cream.
-
• #532
Step too far. Nothing good will come of this.
-
• #533
Ooft, a bold choice but I'm intrigued.
-

That reminds me, I've got a shitload of frozen bananas in the freezer to whizz up and make ice cream (a vessel for PB) with.

Why are those peanuts green?
And how was using the pre-roasted ones? Did you notice a difference from home-roasted?

Blue plastic, no?

...Wiggle sell 1kg tubs of Pip and Nut? Does this mean I buy bike parts to justify my PB habit or PB to justify my bike parts habit? Does 1kg of PB justify undercutting the little guy and ordering from a big retailer? Did this thread influence said stocking choice?

Japanese Milk bread , sun pat crunchy and Bon maman Strawberry , its super sweet and not healthy but its sooo good. I found the forgotten about 2nd one in my frame bag when i was struggling towards the end of an Audax recently and it was glorious.

I tried peanut butter and marmite on one piece of toast this morning. I wish I'd had two pieces of toast boasting individual spreads

Wtf must source.
If they didn’t have melty chocolate and if individually wrapped, perfect ride food. -

Can’t find them now though. They have a bunch of brick and mortar shops around London too.
For non-melty you want PB filled mochi.

Exactly, but where!
Might even be tempted to make some...Made some glutinous rice cakes with sesame and peanut butter not so long ago, should make them again.

If I remember, I made a large batch of sticky rice (thai/sushi) in the rice cooker, mixed it up with some toasted sesame oil, sesame seeds and rice syrup(or golden syrup), put a layer in a baking dish lined with clingfilm, pressed it down, decent layer of warm peanut butter, then topped with the remaining rice mix, pressed it down. Cool it down, fridge, cut into large wedges.

Think I did a similar thing year ago based on the team sky rice cakes. Don’t think it involved PB but it was pretty good on-bike food.
Yeah, get this marmite shit out of the PB thread.
