• #11428
Ah, sorry.

Get a straight steerer one and use a headset reducer?
-
• #11430
I think that's my only option

My recently rebuilt MB1. I stopped trying to hack and compromise on geometry and just spent the damn money. Rides like a dream. Color coordination is a bit off but I'll live.

Unfortunately, I don't.. I know loads of 1.25" 12mm thru-axle, flat mount forks, none of them have cage mounts.

The genesis cgr1?
-
• #11434
That's 1,125"... Good option though.
-
• #11435
Yeah sorry I keep misreading 1.25 as 1.125

Nice, what rack?
-
• #11437
Sunlite. Super cheap and pretty durable
-
• #11438
Mine wasn't. Alloy rack tabs are a terrible idea, get looking for something in steel to replace them.
-
• #11439
Very nice! How are those SKs?
-
• #11440
I find the opposite - you can't clip in, so there's no clipping out to worry about :S
-
• #11441
That looks like a steel part failure though? Or did the rack itself fail too?
Those brackets look pretty thin and not a lot of metal once they've been slotted for the bolts. -

Isn’t that stem length : HT length ratio going to snap something?

Retro gravel bike?
-
• #11445
Not bad. And those cranks are really something.
-

Bruce Gordan rock n roads are like legendary tyres aren't they? Not saying they're good because of that but seems like people who write for the radavist like them
-
• #11447
They have, as said above, a good reputation.
I don't think the 700c is tubeless ready, I guess they would say so. -
• #11448
After 3000 puncture free miles on continental contact speed tyres i change over to wtb riddlers (purely because tanwall) and get a puncture within 150.
Excellent
-
• #11449
The Riddlers are literally made of actual shit.
-
• #11450
haha. might give them a go tubeless see if that helps
Sorry, somehow read cage as cargo.
