  • i am going to epoxy the garage floor in the new place. anyone done it?

  • No, but have had 2 part epoxy paint in my ebay watch list for months, so would be interested to see how you get on. my garage floor has lots of random crap on it around the edges where it was rendered and then not cleaned properly, so really need to get a grinder in first to clear that up.

  • this is a brand new garage, so i am hoping i can prime/mist coat, then two coats of epoxy

  • We’ve just redone our workshop with Epilife 2 from Mylands paints, it seems pretty good has stayed down and wears pretty well.

  • cheers!

  • I just got really confused because another mate asked the exact same thing in a facebook group. The consensus was it's really hard and garage floor tiles might be easier but @citron seems to disagree!

  • I’m not disagreeing, I’ve had my workshop floor (200 m2) done with the paint I mentioned and it seems pretty decent, there maybe better solutions out there.

  • it's not rocket surgery, surely??

  • Nope, clean and degrease then apply paint.

  • Did you do it yourself or did you get someone else to do it?

  • We did it ourselves, the rep from mylands was very helpful.
Last year we built an extension to the workshop and got someone in , as the concrete floor needed grinding flat, this has held up well and is used for truck maintenance so quite heavy wear. So when we did the existing workshop we used the same supplier.

  • Thoughts on new 208

  • And springs that are 6" shorter

  • Yeah, looks like it's trying to be an SUV.

  • That's black plastic that makes them look really gappy. About the only thing i don't like about them. Look good otherwise.

  • Those wheel arches are so weird, I thought it was a lift kit at first...

  • Yes it’s not a gap , it’s a wheel arch black plantings extra with the GT line I think.
The one down doesn’t get them

  • Better?
Trick interior too, French designers trumping German atm for me

  • Better?

    Not especially

  • Looks like someone phoned in the design of an A3

  • have to say I really like it. all the newer gen pugs look great imo. still wouldn't drive one though

  • Silver VZ

I cracked and went nostalgic for my absolute favourite car I've ever owned. (not mine but the exact model and spec)

  • why do all new cars have massive ugly front grilles? is it purely a pedestrian safety thing?

The new BMW are just hideous due to this feature.
