Thinking of ordering a set of AR46 from LB. Anyone wants to jump in with me to lower shipping fees?

Don't suppose you have any idea what "Leave processing center " means? After I last posted the status changed to that which I assumed was shorthand for "carrying it to the plane" but apparently not.

It's somewhere at the airport.

My LB 25x25 tub rims arrived with minimum fuss after they changed courier to FedEx while keeping the $1 postage. Looking forward to seeing them built on some Hopes. #crossiscoming
Any else noticed that Farsports seem to have stopped selling rims only?

What finish did you get?
I fancy some 25mm clinchers -

You need to go to rimsfar instead.

Not jumped on the orient express before - looks overwhelming, but considering trying to pick up some 650c clinchers as nothing suitable has come up on ebay for months. Lightbicycle don't do them. Looks like farsports do - just go via them or any other suggestions?
Reading through this thread seems people prefer to order rims only. Why's that? Just for more choice of build preferences?
Thanks

Hub choice used to be very limited so only way to get exactly what you want (and cheaper sometimes). These days you can get most hubs and spoke options so there's not much benefit.
Also upgrading existing wheelsets.

I built Cycliste a front wheel with a Farsports 650c rim. Built up nicely and survived a fairly exciting crash on an A11 slip road with no ill effects. I like them

Another week, another holiday for my wheels; this time they're spending a week in Prague. It's a race for the longest in-EU shipping period between this and something from the US which has been in transit from Brussels for 10 days (you could walk it in that time).

Turned up finally... look good, 1400g for the pair. Pretty impressed. Will whack the GP5000TL on later and see how they go

Is there any real guarantee behind Aliexpress' shipping guarantees? I ordered something reasonably urgent 5 weeks ago that had a 7-10 day delivery guarantee. Obviously paid a fair bit more for shipping from a European warehouse and it seems they're now out of stock and I'll be waiting an age for them.

afraid not. I paid for shipping from a french warehouse once and it came via Latvia and took two weeks.

I have received my new Titanium seatpost today.
Asked for an unbranded one and they obliged!
It looks good, and so do the weld.

Friend is interested in ordering form LB. what’s the average customs cost?
-
• #8374
whatever you want it to be. LB happy to mark down value on order

Hmm, interesting. I’ll tell him. Thanks
How long did other people's wheels from LB sit in Hong Kong? Mine have been hanging out there for 3 weeks now but LB can't tell me when they're likely to be moved along.
