• It's the look that says "I wish he would stop taking pictures of cars, bikes and motorbikes everywhere we go" 😂

As for the wheels I'm really struggling to find the right choice!
I've settled on 15x8 but I'm trying to find something ET15+ which doesn't leave an awful lot of options for off the shelf and reasonably priced (most 15x8 seem to be ET0 and they justpoke out too much for me)...

What I really want is Work Equip 40s but I don't know if I can bring myself to spend c.£1500 on wheels at the moment so at the risk of invoking the distaste of @NurseHolliday I think I might end up with one of the random fashion wheel brands in the short term.

Sadly even Rota have very few options with the offset I need so the best option seems to be Japan Racing Wheels... haven't found any horror stories about them so I think they might be ok for a roadgoing stopgap.

949 6UL and Enkei RPF01 are both obviously great choices but I just feel like they're a bit spendy to not be exactly what I want when they're not a million miles off the price of the Work wheels.

I have also found this website so I'll be keeping an eye on here to see if something nice comes up in the meantime also...

  • Check out Yahoo auctions Japan to keep an eye out for suitable Japanese wheels.

ET 15 won't be too low offset for the Mini? You might need more like 30ish to get the 8" wide wheels sitting nicely without mental camber and some arch work.

Also you're in Ireland, right? So check out JDM distro, they're Ireland based and import stuff to sell from Japan. Often they're weak widths but if you get a bargain on some 3pc 6-7" wide wheels you could get them rebuilt with new lips or barrels.

The good thing is Rotas seem to hold their value (I don't know why) so if you bought interim wheels you could potentially only lose a little bit of money.
