Picked up a Sanderson Town Crier 29er frame & headset for a super low price. Collected it on the way home towards the end of lockdown in May.
The Stanton Sherpa 853 I had been using for errands & shopping bike around & about Reading is way to nice to leave locked up, so the Town Crier is a perfect substitute. Aside from upper headset cup the parts swapped straight over. It has almost identical geo and rides every bit as nice as the Sherpa.
The bars will come down and steerer cut and I might get frame and forks resprayed to match at some point, or just get the forks resprayed. Apart from mudguards there isnt anything else to change. This also leaves the Sherpa free for a future build...
