That is EPIC!
And a finally a good use for ultra cheap moody gold Rolexes!

If only I had a house that could do that justice!
Do it anyway. For all of us. Just do it.

DJs aren't a particularly rare sight in boutiques, it's the steel Professional watches that you never see anymore.
The sharpness of the fluted bezel is amazing but the Datejust 41 always looks weird to me. Like a copy of a Rolex or something. Always wondered why they don't do a 39. I think 39 is about comfortable for a dressier watch for a lot of blokes these days, whereas I'm sure many men think 36 is a women's size. Seen it in a Rolex boutique actually, the salesperson and the (male) customer and his (female) partner all immediately agreed the 36mm OP wasn't an option.

I woudlnt wear a 36mm... In fact my OP as a 39mm is to small.

What's the market like for steel sports watches now- still softening gradually but holding up in general terms?
-
• #45462
It's probably my dainty wrists, but for me 36mm is exactly the size an OP/DJ/DD should be. 34's too small though… that's for the likes of @inchpincher

Holding up generally. Steel professional Rolex will be even more tricky after factory shutdown from Covid.

Boast post!
Sell the OP to me. I offer the customary $50.

I’m not just on another page, more a different book.
OP sounded familiar, Op for me unfortunately, Ocean Pacific as in surf T-shirt’s from 30yrs ago...

Thanks pal. I guessed as much. I see no reason why he would not be happy with it given it's description/actual condition.
The buyer, who I have no reason to believe is anything but genuine, is having issues making payment using C24s escrow service. Keeps being declined by them but his bank say it's all good at their end. So he's contacting C24 support today. Hoping that he can sort it as this is the only offer I've actually had on the watch and it would mean my wife has only lost $25 on it since buying it a year ago. Not bad for an undesirable 31mm women's reference with pink hour indices! -

Yeh had an idea, google filled in the blanks.

I like both 36 and 34 but I think I prefer a 34mm - small watches FTW!

That grey dial… I like it.
Yeah when I was buying my OP I tried 34, 36 and 39. 39 felt as though I would be trying to make people notice my Rolex. 34 just looked a shade too small on my wrist, but the current 34 with a black dial is definitely the most vintage Rolex vibe you can get in a current (and therefore bombproof) Rolex. It's a really nice execution.

How come she's selling it?

34-36 is the sweet spot for me, I'd love a 14270/114270 Explorer. Tempting to sort through the collection to see what I could sacrifice.

I'd love one of these... more than an explorer maybe...

She never wears it. Sat in it's box since November. Cash cow. He's managed to make payment now so hopefully everything goes well.
