I’d guess mice. Really hard to keep them at bay, they did for some raised beds at our plot last year.

Ah yeah that's done it. Thanks!

Have a cautionary tale re. them. Ordered £90’s worth of stuff they claim was posted weeks and weeks ago. Got no proof of post from them (just an email note saying dispatch by Royal Mail, no details.) Have asked them what’s happening and nearly two weeks on still no news other than an auto response thing. Just saying if your ordering I hope stuff arrives in time to plant! Could just be a one off problem though.

Could just be a one off problem though
Every time I've ordered from them the entire experience has been a clusterfuck from start to finish, and that's in pre-COVID times. The stuff eventually does show up, but it's always late and they never ever tell you what's going on.
I reckon those courgettes will be a 2021 job!

I have heard this lately, but for a tenner of seeds I don't mind too much. Paid by paypal so easy enough to get my money back if need be.

Aw, balls. Was hoping people would jump all over it with nothing but praise for them.

Have ordered from them once and it was fine. Seed potatoes turned up on time and all good. Bloke I work with said he complained that there weren’t enough seeds in a packet he bought and they sent him a whole new packet.
Likewise, just got about £27 of seeds for a tenner plus post which will sort me out for a fair bit of next year.

It just goes to show, for my cloud you have a silver lining :)

Have heard mixed things to be honest. But not had much experience. With a company that big I imagine plenty of mistakes are made.

Would consider bringing in our first earlies about now but they got so hit by the frost and it’s been so dry I’m going to give them another week or so.

Awesome, ordered a load of bits

Hope they turn up. Prepped to become the forum allotment paraiah for linking to a supplier with shitty customer service. 😬
...Although I did note they said my order would take 14 days before I placed it.

Paid by PayPal so no worries

Strawberries taste so good when you’ve picked them fresh from your own plot

^ & ^^ It's all coming good.
I've got my first (relatively) big-ish haul of Onions drying at the mo.
Broad Beans almost finished, lack of succession planting means glut n gone here.

^ ace, pulled some of mine too. I think they're ready enough if a bit small but I've left some in to see if they get any bigger.
Tbh I need the space though to plant more stuff out so will have to suck it up soon and pull the rest.
I saw @alialias on my way there who politely and kindly pointed out it was a beer on plot afternoon. Cheers!

Mocked mine up today at last. I had none of the fixings with me though, nor the netting! Going to make two.

Spamming thread last one tonight, the decking area I built is still roofless but the shed casts shade on it which was ideal respite from the direct sun this afternoon (pic is from yesterday btw)
