BARN FIND : PELOTON 54cm FULL NJS BUILD MINT

Hi everyone,

recently cleaned my studio and rediscovered my old peloton track bike which i bought in tokyo in over 10 years ago i rode it a few times on track then stored as collectors item - the idea of the build was to create the most beautiful example possible Japanese track bike bike using 100% NJS parts.

it was a "no-limits" build in terms of budget and sourcing

esstentially teleporting a NJS Keriin bike from tokyo to london - im sure there are very few examples in uk like this.

The 54cm fillet brazed frame was built in 2002 by Shitamori & is in near mint condition - i was the 2nd owner from 2008 - metallic grey blue

Concisely speaking - All parts (purchased new) on the bike are from the following brands DURA-ACE, ARAYA, FIVE GOLD, MKS , NITTO and the top of the line model / spec from those brands respectively
the condition of all parts are basically new & best in class & is NJS certified and ordered new in 2008 for this build from Japanese supplier keirin riders use - every single part on this bicycle has the NJS stamp

some of the parts are available only in japan

I forget that I dropped popcorn behind the sofa cushions and you forget this frame. Totally the same thing.

Needs a trispok up front, a pair of thickslicks and some mad wide risers I reckon, then it’d be perfect.
