Hey, I'm really not sure. I'm a complete novice here, never done any repair work on a coffee machine before.
I'd thought about the jubilee clip, but where it attaches it might be tricky to screw in.
I think from memory the machines runs at 15bar, no idea if a jubilee clip could hold that? After a bit more googling this morning I've found the oetiker clips at 79p. Still can't find any suitable hose any cheaper so assuming it's probably best just to stick with the branded one above.
Hoping the forum can help me here...
I have a GAGGIA NEW BABY 06 CLASS D that I bought from @Vince of this parish.
Probably the best money I've ever spent.
I could hear the sound of water sizzling when it came into contact with the hot body of the boiler.
I've removed the cover and can see that theres a small leak at one of the silicone tubes.
I've figured out that I need this: https://www.mrbean2cup.co.uk/gaggia-reinforced-silicon-tube-60-cm-long
and some of these: https://www.mrbean2cup.co.uk/oetiker-clip-95mm
So basically a length of braided silicone hose with a 5mm ID and an 8.9mm OD.
It seems I'll need a special pair of pliers to crimp those Oetiker clips too?
Prices seem to vary from wildy expensive at £60 down to a more reasonable £14 like these ones:

But before I buy the bits in the above links, is there a better or cheaper alternative? Or is the price for the hose just the going rate?
Am I on the right track here?
