I've lived on that road for 6 years. The road is nicer now but traffic has definitely increased over that time. Saying that I'm always surprised how quiet it is in the flat. Maybe I've just got used it...
There was a point a couple summers ago where they closed all the rat run entries to the road (due to the bridge replacement) for 4 months. The road was a different place!

There's a lot of weird and wonderful places on that road with a whole variety of studios and granny flats and the like.
@underuser53929 still a bit of a ratrun but a nicer road than it used to be.
If any of the plans to filter the traffic on that road actually come to fruition there's suddenly going to be a lot of £1m+ houses on there.
