Dunno. That's going to depend on how you sit on it, and I tend to sit right over the clamp so it doesn't try to rotate. Whatever, it's given no trouble these 25 years, and I promised somebody I'd actually ride the bike this year if his open 10 actually runs, so I'm not going to start messing with new stuff now.
Between the Dean post, Cinelli Grammo and CQP Ti cranks with Ti BB axle, I have about £900 invested in the so-called wonder metal, but I'm still not going to pretend any of it is a good idea 🙂
It doesn't really match my credenza
It probably won't fit it either, given that it's the rare 27.0mm size to fit my 753 frame
Not by a long chalk, but mine is the road version with only 150mm poking out of the frame, about half the cantilever length of the MTB ones made from the same tube stock.
