Not by a long chalk, but mine is the road version with only 150mm poking out of the frame, about half the cantilever length of the MTB ones made from the same tube stock.

Surely the limit was meant for the clamp . I'll give you a sp-248 and a beer for it.
It doesn't really match my credenza, but we can't have you riding a death trap.
