Could not agree more. I feel like there must be some underlying strategy to lose customers because I can’t understand why you’d think anyone would be motivated to bank with you after seeing one of their adverts

The absolute worst!
I'm with HSBC and always promised myself I'd clear my overdraft and then give them the heave ho. I'm ready to change to a more ethical bank and having done some homework I'm left thinking Nationwide might be the one.... but those ads!!! Absolutely boil my piss! Anything which patronises me gets on my tits (don't get me started on BBC adult TV - Fiona Bruce can >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ). That whole cuddly thing really sticks in my throat when it's coming from a lending titan.
