Again it's probably not SOF but gives you an idea. Also no idea how the garden would be 'shared'.

First question would be how much is the mooring...

Post-corona times how many people are going to actually use their gardens that much? Almost every place I've rented with a garden, no one really ever used them apart from the odd bbq a couple of times a year.
Almost everywhere in London has a great park within walking distance, so unless you have kids or absolutely love gardening it's an expensive addition over more usable inside space.

gardens are for to pour concrete over, pave and have massive bike sheds

I want a garden so I can have a park next to my house that excludes the general population and their filthy habits
Also it will have fewer dog poos but probably more cat poos

That's nice. Would do for my retirement home.

I've got 10 bikes in a 1 bed flat. It's worrying how many I'd have with a shed as well

Also no idea how the garden would be 'shared'.
Freeholder retains the garden, lessees are given a non-exclusive right to use the garden in their leases. Same as in larger purpose-built blocks of flats.
From the look of it (one dead tree in a pot and lots of suspicious looking bushes) it doesn't look like it's been used much by anyone.

Osbourne road is nice - I don't know what the rail noise would be like as havent spent enough time there to say. Easy access to the flats, Winchelsea road etc
I would've been very tempted by this one if we hadn't just exchanged https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/55151008

I think a lot of this depends on growing up. I always had a garden growing up (up North) so miss not having one. My girlfriend grew up in central London with no garden so isn't that fussed.

• #32720
you need to sell me some REAAALLY cheap
-
• #32721
Yeah that could be amazing

• #32722
Yeah, and I work in Hammersmith, a 20 minute cycle in a straight line and my gf works in St John's Wood, 20 mins on the tube, no changes or a similar time to cycle.

Impressive turnaround:
That is weird. It looks like it's been done up to a standard well beyond a quick modernise and flip.
Hmm I should move to whitstable etc

A young Spanish guy I worked with living in a shared house in Leyton said a garden in London was a must. His logic - what other major European city can you have a garden without being a multimillionaire?
