Nothing against Rashford at all ... I think it was incredibly brave for him to take on an issue so publicly and strongly as he did ...
But fucking hell, all this government can do is bounce from pillar to post to try and win public opinion - there is absolutely no strategy or thinking involved. This morning Johnson was spouting on about how the existing benefits system did more for hungry families than extending school dinners. Was that a lie? What the fuck changed in 3 hours?
Every single decision they've made since being elected is focused on appeasement, with no basis in fact or belief in any way.
