I ordered a new pair mid February, thinking I would have just enough time to break them in before summer. That turned out a little bit different...

The blistering is only in the top of my feet, where the edges of the straps rub against it.
I'm thinking I'll try to break them in wearing a thin pair of socks to avoid blisters.In the meantime I have developed a fondness for the looks of these from duckfeet. Vegetable tanned leather should develop a very beautiful patina over time, and they are easily resoleable!

Have many miles in birckenstockcs, it is supremely comfortable - once you break them in.
I am weary of buying a new pair, just because I don't like to get blisters.
