It is interesting that one of the conclusions implied by that article seems to be that variances in outcomes for different racial groups is down to socio-economic inequalities and not institutional racism. However, does that not mean that the failure of successive governments to tackle socio-economic inequalities is actually in fact institutional racism?
Having failed to implement the findings of previous commissions int racial inequality, Johnson's response to the current crisis is to set up a new commission.
