There's a generalised effect in the modern economy that there is no longer any middle, everything is either cheap (but not always nasty) or it has at least 100% luxury tax on top of whatever added value (if any) it's bringing to the table.
Fortunately, you don't have to worry about that with track hubs, just get Novatec and stop trying to kid yourself that paying more is in any way worthwhile.

What is the mid price point track hub these days? I can't seem to find much between Phil Wood/ Paul and budget.
Or alternatively if I'm looking for a quality hub, double or single fixed 32H, what should i be looking at thats not Phil Wood money?
