  • Not in the market, but giving a thumbs up to the general manufacturing strength of beds and bunks beds.
    I've got a bunk bed from them for my two kids, they're happy, the bed is rated to sleep two adults (one top one bottom).
    Putting it together though when you're in a hurry - not recommended. (I see you mentioned their descriptions - yes. there's a reason why IKEA are the go to company when buying flat pack furniture. one of the main ones is the ability to provide clear instructions with no words)
    Bed and bunks will also resupply missing pieces I think (they did when I asked for a new side rail).

  • I hear you on the simplicity of IKEA! We chose this bed based on the strength limits, after not being assured by other products available...

    For any prospective buyers, this would come with clear instructions (based on original ones which are hard to decipher).
