Well, I thought everyone here might be interested in how the bike actually turned out... so here are some random photos of it random places. I wanted to go for a more modern version of an Austro-daimler Vent Noir, which came with the original black Dura-ace group. So I built it with DA 9000 set of shifters and derailleurs, some silver Chris King universal disc hubs laced to black h+plus son tb14s, Trp spyre brakes, an old campy record threadless headset, Compass Barlow pass tires, some silver campy cranks with some black TA rings, Suntour Xc Pro pedals and will probably swap between Concor and a brooks cambium depending if I want to put a Carradice on it or not. Cheers !

Yes, definitely a 1"steer tube. The stem is a velo orange tall stack... but I want to find a slightly more svelte polished silver stem... the outer diameter of the stem and head tube are the same so I kind of find it irksome.

Kind of glad it's 1" steerer, if it was 1 1/8" then I'd have tried to snap this up. The finished article looks fantastic.

Very interesting to see the mixing of campag cranks on dura ace... might do something similar with chorus crankset. I've got an old 10 speed ultegra groupset will this be possible?

This is wonderful and super close to something I'd like to have built by the same builder.
Can you advise on total cost in the end for the F&F?
