My other grandfathers rolex is sat in a drawer awaiting similar treatment!
Whatever you do, don't send it to Rolex for a service, you'll probably not recognise it when it comes back, they're well known for changing dial, hands etc to have it looking like new and it'll loose any character/charm that it ever had. I can recommend someone if you need it.

My sister in law had my grandfathers watch serviced and fixed. Looks great on my brother! My other grandfathers rolex is sat in a drawer awaiting similar treatment!
