Agreed, the original Kona forks give it a lot of character! They also complement the taper of a tig quill stem nicely as shown in the catalogue. I find Columbus Minimals can look a bit jarring on older frames, even on OS tubing. Perhaps more of a skinny bladed fork like a Tifosi or an old Time would work if you want carbon? Great project though, watching with interest!
