Get a reverse drill bit, that should get it out.

But I've yet to strip a shitty Hex Nut.
However, Torx seem to be infamous for it.

TBF it's usually down to the Torx keys rather than the bolt, as a cheap Torx keys can easily bend if installed hastily.
