That black and gold CAAD3 Saeco is lovely. Think there is a similar one on Ebay at the moment as well!

Many thanks!
Yea its funny.. havent seen one in approx 5 years and after i grabber mine there were 3 others within three months, all in 56
However i am glad that mine already has a fairly useful groupset on it, instead of the stock coda (triple?) crank and brake and so on

Ah great find!
Steerer too short, though :-((

Cleaned off some horrible parts in the meantime
Also found a not-so-cheap fork but condition is nice though

@Sig_Arlecchino not sure, looks much lighter in daylight
@BernardRenault thanks! Its got a 12-30 cassette and a gold chain now (pics to follow)
Found a nice straight and cannondale labeled time fork for the blue CAD; need to cut steerer or replace threaded headset with threadless headset 🧑🏻🦯

Alright, threaded headset replaced by threadless headset and alloy fork replaced by carbon fork
Much nice
Installing crown race and star nut without proper tools, however, sucks big time

Looking good! Just keep an eye on those forks, I had a similar pair and eventually the alloy fork end debonded from the carbon legs. Luckily I wasn't riding it at the time or it could have been painful!

Thanks man
Re forks sounds not too promising though :-G

New project arrived last week
CAD 2 c400 in colour eggplant
Great condition with brakes and drivetrain already maintained
To dos:
- replace headset, seatpost clamp, stem
- throw on mudguards and rack(s)
- replace coda cranks
- Replace front wheel by hub dynamo
- Install lights
Today i replaced the headset in the first place and also removed pedals and chainrings for the intended replacement cranks
Stem also replaced by a sakae from parts bin
The wide tires ride really lovely
Cheers

Oh and because of people buying all the ugly bits from the saeco off of me within a week, invest in the saeco turned out to be less than €400 (without wheels)
