What was people’s exact issue with you riding this? That they got whipped by a guy in baggies on a track bike, or that you didn’t have a brake?
I’ve not been a cx commissaire for ages but I don’t remember a rule against fixed- only that you’d need an extra brake?

I also once managed to persuade the guys at Herne Hill to let me race my Kitchen Bike in the 2016 summer cyclo-cross series on 25mm road tyres. Great fun but not sure it'll happen again cause of keyboard warriors post race.
