Do you have any Isen or talbot top caps I could purchase for a nominal fee?

Dalsnibba ISP number 1 (technically 1.2 I guess.... Seeng as I killed the original frame) will forever be my #1 bike.
RIP Talbot. Long live Isen.

You shouldn't be allowed to own bikes anymore

Was there ever a thread for this bike or was it just random updates?

Really sad to hear that Talbot is closing down.
Having been one of those "sorry-changed-my-mind-for-the-300th-time-can-i-please-have-the-gold-into-red-into-purple-candy-fade-instead-of-that-green-blue-coral-color-paintjob-and-a-different-fork-too-while-we-are-at-it-as-that-one-better-suits-my-personality" customers I can totally understand why you'd want to focus on Isen and a more straightforward process.
Long live Isen and I can't wait to ride PBP for you guys!
PS: Low-quality non-driveside picture of the two Swiss Talbots outside a restaurant, while their owners stuff their faces inside

Is mine 1.0?

š± wasnāt expecting that one but makes complete sense, wish you all the best for the not so new venture now and I think you have clearly made a lot of people here proud owners and riders of TF. Will keep the brand alive for sure!

Just read the news that @coldharbour has had to wind down Talbot to focus on Isen
Sad news but understandable.
I am please I can say I'm a lucky owner of a Talbot (second hand) and an Isen.@coldharbour, are you able to offer any support to older Talbots? I got a new TA fork for mine and would love to have it painted to match / have whole lot repainted with some Talbot fades.

Looking fantastic! Great to see this bike getting the miles in.

So far we have racked up 3250km and one broken neck together.
-
• #445
So you are back riding? Hope your recovery is going well.
-
• #446
Yeah, been back at it for a while, but my neck says no at about the 2hr mark, and my hand is a tad messed up due to a ligament perforation. But I am riding. Trying to do 3-5 2hr rides a week. Not as fast as I used to be pre accident, also CBF in terms of structured training atm, though.
-
• #447
Wow. Thatās quite a lot of riding, impressed with your resilience. Hope the neck and hand become less bothersome with time.

I was pretty determined for a quite while, threw myself into physio and whatnot. Did a 6 week block on TrainerRoad before I was even allowed to ride a bike proper. But somewhere along the line I lost momentum, or the taste for grinding through workouts. I'm kidding myself that this is my "base" phase and I'll get back to it next summer.

Mine's also been seeing some kms since I picked it up and has already travelled to Annecy, Brittany and Girona.
Changed a couple of things since pickup, swapped stem and post from Thomson to Zipp and had to replace the eTap rear derailleur ... Still super happy with it and can see myself continue to ride it for many years!

What size tyres do you have in there? And whatās the fork?
I still hvve 300 of them, don't worry.
