  • I'd be weary of anodising unless you get it done by someone who really knows their shit - anodising can create a very brittle surface, which can make a Ti frame much more prone to cracking (as if they werent prone to it already). It's why a fair few builders refuse to do it. There is info for arguments both ways on the web, so do some research and make your own conclusion.

    If you get it painted, 100% leave the rear triangle raw - Titanium is non ferrous, which is why it doesnt rust, but also means paint doesnt like sticking to it particularly well (same with stainless steel), so it is more prone to chipping, so not having any paint to get damaged in a high wear area like the rear stays makes a lot of sense. At the very least leave the chainstays raw otherwise chainslap damage will be the bane of your life.
