  • South London

But why? I’m dying for another crack at this game now so that I can use this location:

  • Where is that?
    Clue?

  • But why

South London is not far from North London, or East London or West London.

    Ride your bike.

I live in SE24 and have tagged things in Mill fucking Hill.

  • Maybe a clue in there.

  • I meant “why does it seem like it’s in South London?”, not “I don’t go South of the river, not this time of night guv”!

  • Ahh! Rightyho.

  • I should have had more Faith in you.

  • Old tag. 58 Sunray Avenue.

New tag. Henry's Stainless Wildlife Ganger

  • My first tag for some months. Nice to get out, and glad I went further down Sunray Avenue as I was close to thinking I'd come on a wild goose chase.

  • This is the image I found funny, as the blur on the head makes it look a bit like a gnome's hat:

  • It's just a gnome inside a black surround, doesn't look as creepy when you face it front on.

  • I hadn't noticed that, as I actually didn't find it on streetview for a change. I worked out @mashton 's clue and then went on a bit of punt.

  • Did you get the hero bit?

    Gnomes for Heroes...

  • (the house is part of the Casino Avenue Homes for Heroes development)

  • Missed that bit, feel free to enlighten.

  • Old: an ATM hedgehog outside Bessemer Grange Primary School in Nairne Grove, not very far at all from the previous tag, which I have to say is way better in real life.
As for endangered wildlife, I had dread overcome me early May when no swallows were to be seen anywhere, a real Silent Spring. Their eventual return felt precarious.

  • New: proper easy one, don't think we going to run out of tags just yet if even things like this haven't been done. (Hope it hasn't! Checked map etc)

  • Nice!

  • the previous tag, which I have to say is way better in real life.

    This is true.

If you find yourself near Sunray Avenue, between Camberwell and Herne Hill, I urge you to visit the gnomes. The whole display is quite something to behold .

  • I'm sure it'll get tagged before it becomes unusable (the temporary cycling/pedestrian replacement survived the recent tfl funding cuts) but it's still going to be YEARS before it gets resolved. I'm loving it as it's making the entitled motorists that used to use it absolutely mad.

Reminds me, been a long time since I've run along that bit of river.

  • Ach balls. Was there yesterday.

  • The idea that we could run out of tags is preposterous. But yeah it is surprising that no-one’s tagged this yet.

  • Old: Hammersmith Bridge looking West

The year is 202021. The war with Saturn enters its fifth century. Children are food now. We have run out of tags.
