What time is it? Watches and horology

Nah, can't be bothered to get them out again.

But can confirm that an Alkin Model 1 on original strap weightrs 93g, which is about 25g lighter than a Seiko SKX007 on rubber strap. They're roughly the same size too actually. Would people say the 007 is a heavy and large watch?

I find it fascinating how much perception of the size of a watch is defined by a lot more than just width or lug to lug. I think part of it is how angular the Alkin looks compared to a lot of other watches.
