Lightweight tent recommendations?

A tall (2m) friend of mine is looking for a lightweight 1p tent, really doesn't want bivi or tarp, what are his options? Is the @platypus approved Cloudup going to be big enough? We can't make it out from the various (seemingly contradicting) figures.

Lanshan 2 might fit, discussion here worth reading
How about a special tall people UL tent, this one has rave reviews
I would also try MYOG, pyramid tent is not the hardest thing to make by far

And that's where the hidden constraint comes into the picture, don't think the budget will stretch that far. And based on that review the Lanshan 2 is not going to cut it.
