  • Please don't put random email addresses that don't belong to you into forms.

People doing stuff like that is why I get all sorts of shit like Hurricane Preparedness Information for the 3rd District of Mississippi.

  • Doesn't everyone have a fake name and email for spammy sign ups and shitposting? Mine is snottyotter.

  • Nope

  • There are quite a few services out there that check you used a valid email address, if you use on then your survey platform will just delete the form if the address was for e.g. Mickey.Mouse@hotmail.com

  • I have at least 4 people I troll in rotation with this, one of them has a very fake sounding name too! (james jones)

  • Haha, I'm an idiot!

  • Sorry about that. I'll always make up emails when I can. Train WiFi used to be the classic for me, but any other sign ups too, just use something like gobeldegook@gwrtrainco.cc - no one owns that email, and it gets the job done. I wouldn’t use an actual email service address though, Hotmail/gmail etc.

  • just use something like gobeldegook@gwrtrainco.cc - no one owns that email

Today. Someone might register gwrtrainco.cc (€15.60/year at my preferred registrar) and want to accept *@gwrtrainco.cc without getting your spam.

I wouldn’t use an actual email service address though, Hotmail/gmail etc.

Some registration sites check a domain exists which means people do use Hotmail/gmail etc.

UK to not bother too much with Eu to UK border checks, for a while only, we promise!

So business can prepare, well not really, small businesses have no capacity left due to coronavirus...

Everyone seems to have forgotten those no deal lorry queues...

  • Personally my heart goes out to the person not getting the Hurricane Preparedness Information.

  • If there's a dave@dave.com I've been sending them all kinds of shit

  • What about the child I deleted the Kidoz profile of yesterday?

  • dave@dave.com

    Sames

  • I tend to use hello@gmail.com

  • So it's confirmed that we're not going to ask for an extension and thus 2021 will be even worse than 2020.
    Thanks, Gammons.

  • Can't wait for the border riots in the Irish Sea!

    /heavy sarcasm

But there will be PLENTY of jobs now to deal with the "reduced" red tape! Silver linings! :)

  • The average Gammons are just useful idiots for disaster capitalists, if they weren't so irritating/bigoted I'd feel sorry for them.

An acquaintance of mine, who has redeeming features as nearly any human being and surprisingly said IT is very sexist, despite being a Telegraph reader, has totally fallen into the hands of the culture war generals now. They are educated too, I do feel a bit sorry for them. Cos what good did it do for anybody...they are sold down the river.

  • At some point they'll be a couple of weeks / days / hours away from that deadline, they'll buckle then I imagine.

(Edit: by 'they' I mean Johnson et al, not the EU)

  • From what I've read that would require unanimous agreement from the EU 27 and I suppose some sort of bill through parliament. In other words, not on your nelly

  • Explains the 10+ phone calls I had today from pension “advisors” then. Advising me how to get my pension out of the uk before it’s too late.

  • Nah - too late now unless a massive u-turn and loads of special meetings. Today was the time to buckle, but because the endpoint is 6 months away, and people are understandably distracted, it's not been much noticed.

  • They've U turned before now. Surely to fuck they won't be so vicious as to let the country go over the edge like this?!

  • It's probably the best time to do it. Any negatives can be blamed on coronavirus rather than brexit.

  • I doubt they care about Duty it's their way or the highway.

But, perhaps once they and their disaster capitalist mates made enough, there is a U-turn. It's not looking good though as the Tories have no rebels left...

They did but the hung parliament have stopped them from doing so.
