I wanted hope ones but settled for just getting the anodised chainring and some cheap raceface cranks.
Plenty of anodised chainrings. Can't remember what that one was tho.
I'd have anodised everything If i could. -

Actually just checked my emails.
Got this chainring. -

Just thought I would share my gravel/touring/whateverthekidsarecallingitthesedays -bike...
Previous owner had the frame repainted and put Surly decals on it. However I'm 99,99% sure that's it's just some old mountainbike frame. Originally made for 26" wheels but setup now with 27,5" with 48mm gravelkings.

Haha didnt think about that - but you are absolutely right!

I actually don’t know. It isn’t branded and it was on the bike when I bought it secondhand..

Somebody rode past me on an All City Cosmic Stallion last night when I was wheeling my bike through an Epping trail with a blown front tyre. Lovely looking bike, got a bit of an itch for one now

Yep, they look really nice. I’ve got a real hankering (but absolutely no need) for a single speed/fixed nature boy disc with the green splatter paint.

I read this as “when I was wheelying my bike through an Epping trail with a blown front tyre“ which sounded rad, and then I read it again and it sounded much less rad indeed.

Anyone selling a gravel bike medium or large? Got 300-800 to spend and would rather buy preowned.

I need to order a track pump, getting 45c tyres on with a hand pump was not fun!!

Looking to go down the GRX route.. is the 800 worth the extra bit? Cant see much difference apart from the grams.
-
• #11342
Mate it's all about the 'grams especially when it comes to gravel bikes.
Speaking of which I need a new one. Is it that the Arkose X is sold out?

I have the 600, I'm super happy with it.
Unless the weight or having the top end shit really bothers you, I can't see what else you'd need. Haven't really looked at the spec though. Someone mentioned on here a while ago that the deraileur body is basically the same.

Fanks. 600 it is.

Someone mentioned on here a while ago that the deraileur body is basically the same.
It is the same (810/812) rear derailleur; there is no 600 rear derailleur.
With a 600 groupset, you get an 810 or 812 rear derailleur (depending on 1x or 2x):

You do:
2 x Shimano GRX BR-RX400 + GRX ST-RX600 disc brakes, front & rear
Not super clear I have to admit.
-
• #11348
Shifters are ST-RX600, bundled with the brakes in that list.
Simple. ;)

I vaguely recall the RX810 levers having an ergonomics feature the RX600s don't, maybe Servowave?

Relocated pivot point. Only the Di2 model.
I’m in love with hope rx cranks but they are SPENDY! What’s the alternative for that colourful cnc 90s mtb look? Race face? This is the look I’m going for love it or hate it, but maybe with coloured cranks either orange to match my bike or purple or something for a hideous contrast
