It's a state inside. The previous owners had been badly doing their own odd-jobs for 30 years. It needs almost everything doing.

I was hoping more could be tidied up and salvaged but it's pretty dire.

Congratulations, My 1st flat was on the Kingswood Estate 15 years ago. Great area to live but could not afford it when I came to buy so ended up in Beckenham.

The garden looks a bit of a mess as well.

Yeah, I'd be making a big bet that the world post C19 is not going to resemble the world pre C19.

I could also fly from Exeter to some destinations I suppose.

My impression of that neck of the woods was that people tend to escape from it, not to it.

That said my impression has been formed by one particularly misanthropic ex-Torbay resident. It might be fine.
