Thanks. The frame is not only my favourite bike ever, but also a 30th gift from my wife, so I am gutted, but hopefully a new front triangle is possible. I have emailed Sam at Stayer.

Shit, I'm glad you're ok.
TBH, having crashed my GH, I'm surprised the car didn't take more of the hit.
I'd email Autumn Frameworks as well.Get it fixed and then lets go for a ride on the GHs.

The car seemed to have a dent and scratches, and I offered to give contact details, but the driver said it was fine, told me to be careful, and drive off. Fairly confused, because I'm pretty sure I was at fault.

Very bizarre. Well that’s a positive to come from this, least you didn’t have to have an aggressive arsehole on the receiving end.

I spoke to Sam this morning. He is going to take this on, most likely rebuilding with a spirit front triangle. I'm really pleased. My thoughts have already turned to what colour to respray. Thinking classic Geekhouse with a purple frame and pink fork.

What does that do?

Yes. Would be easy to build it up to look exactly the same
