It’s tange mtb steel. I have literally no idea how you can get a dent there. I had the thought it may have been from someone trying to get the seatpost out. Will likely just run it as a beater, it’s still square. Won’t be doing any big trails or drops.

Most likely from a badly installed kickstand.

Would a green headset be a bit garish on here?

Those green ones are specifically for pink frames.

If you're buying inner tubes, why not match the valve types?

@Jonny69 I had to double check, but I guess when I had a pink bike it had a pink King headset. It did have green tape for a while.

PS 2008 was a LONG time ago...

Question for the hive mind, i'm looking into building a neo retro road bike and currently have 3 frames. Two have to go unfortunately to pay for carbon wheels/ group set ...which would you keep?

1. Joe Waugh Reynolds 531c - only needs paint touch up
   
2. Van Tuyl Coumbus Air - needs paint
   
3. Voss titanium frame- needs new (carbon fork ) only fits 23mm tires

I vote keep the Voss as is (assuming it has the components in the pic) and ride it to death.

Budget-ish gravel/tourer build ongoing. Sonder Camino Al frame, Ritchey Ergomax bars, 1*10 MTB Deore/Microshift gearing, TRP Spyre brakes and Hope/Stans wheels with Gravel Kings.

Yes, the voss is titanium and I would really like to keep it but it wouldn't ever fit modern wheels , clearances are crazy tight with vintage rims and 23mm tires. .. decissions, decissions 😃

How would you decide between the two i.e. which would be better suited for a neo retro build? The Tuyl is aero shaped all around with asymetrical tubing but a little heavier all around. The Joe would require the least investment but it's a little plain...
