I like the idea of leaving the Colson statue where it is now. A nice parallel to all the 20,000 slaves who died in his captivity and most likely were unceremoniously chucked overboard to a watery grave. The city of Bristol should continue to recognise the statue as a landmark, and place a plaque at the point where they chucked it in. The plaque should tell the full story of his crimes, and end with the story of how the statue ended in the water.
