That's a brilliant idea.

I think I want a 60% keyboard with Cherry MX Blue, but while spunking £100 on something I dont really need is the LFGSS thing to do, I'm gonna resist.

I ordered one with Brown switches (and comes with windows keys)

(and comes with windows keys)
@damitamit I thought that from the Keychron site, but KeyboardCo list these as Mac only
-
• #131
They all come boxed with Win modifier keys.
If this ends up not being the case for you, i'll happily ship you mine...
-
• #132
Glad to hear, thanks. I'll keep any eye out for red stock.

• #133
That keyboard looks so clean, love it! I was thinking of a similar layout, but it won't come cheap if I wanna go lopro.
-
• #134
Thanks! Insulation tape is good for everything, thus it must be within arm's reach.
-
• #135
Arrived already! Came with windows keys as mentioned before. Seems a bit high but will see how I get on...

Re Keychron, I now have both their K2 and K6, don’t know why I need both but... love them both. I need a palm rest otherwise they are a bit high for me. No other complaint.
Anyone wants a cheap Keychron keyboard should head over to Kickstarter, they have just started a new campaign, but it’s for a tenkeyless keyboard - K8, so not as compact as the K6.

Having started with the gateway drug of a blue switch redragon TKL I've just ordered a Durgod Taurus K320 with browns:
and a Glorious PC Gaming Race STEALTH TKL wrist rest (what a nightmare to find something without awful logos) :
I'm going to ask my work on Monday to buy me a Kensington Expert 64325:

On the topic of rollerballs/mouse alternatives, I've really been enjoying my Rollermouse, if anyone feels like going off the deep end on peripherals.
Doesn't work for gaming though -

Glorious PC Gaming Race STEALTH TKL wrist rest
I might get this, thanks. although I'm trying to hover type more, I can't seem to get used to it.
I also thought about getting this to glue to my MX master 2s https://www.posturite.co.uk/mousebean.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw_ez2BRCyARIsAJfg-kt-kuFZ2fbsKH4PFpys6KSqJCpk4_YInjQIe1TYOVEmYqkei5eMBlIaAoZcEALw_wcB

@IrPOWERranger Yeah i'm keeping my performance MX at hand, for non-work
-
• #141
That's intriguing, so the slides/rolly bar at the top controls the cursor position?
-
• #143
Yeah it's pretty intuitive. Really nice not having to move your arm back&forth to the mouse
-
• #144
Nice, the same model I'm going to buy. Did you buy from Amazon or somewhere else?
-
• #145
Yeah, I couldn't see anyone else stocking the UK ISO layout
-
• #146
anyone want a near brand new and mint Keychron K2 UK ISO RGB Backlit Aluminium board? Gateron Blues. After a bit of a comparison I'm keeping the brown switch one. £80
This one https://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard/uk-k2-convertible-rgb-backlit-click-aluminium-mac-keyboard.asp

Slightly regretting buying that keyboard from @hiraethus for my other half; Jesus! does she hammer the keys. I have a leftie black cherry switch thing incoming so I should be able to drown her out with my own clicking soon.
-
• #149
@ObiWomKenobi Is that a K8 in the middle? How come you got it already?

these "preview" pictures were posted on Facebook by the founder, they're not mine.
You’re right - post amended.
